It's happened to you. You go in with low expectations and leave pleasantly surprised. Maybe it was just executed well, maybe it just resonated well or maybe it broke the cycle of tropes and mundane-ness.
Everything I loved (and didn't so much) from this past week!
I can see it. Oh, it's magnificent. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever thought of. I have to get this on paper before I forget. *draws circle*
What is this show trying to tell us and why is it doing it so poorly?
Come one, come all! What I'm watching, what I loved, and some thoughts on anime this week.
I WAS RIGHT, HE WAS WRONG, and this is why I love anime.
Today, let's talk Tenshi no 3P episodes one and two. A musical anime featuring elementary schoolers in a band and high-schooler riddled with anxiety. The second part sounds relatable enough.
Episode is out! And it's much slower than episode 1. A great drawn in for viewers or the sign of a new tempo for the show? Who knows? If this show taught me anything so far it's to trust nothing.
Some anime give you closure. Some end but leave you wanting more. Some rip your heart out, throw it, and then leave you to find your heart while they disappear into the night. Never to be seen again. This is about that last type.
Ep 2 of 18if came out today and I have some thoughts. Why are they hiding so many explanations for simple stuff? People can just kill in dreams if they feel like it? Whhhaaaaaattt.
