It's happened to you. You go in with low expectations and leave pleasantly surprised. Maybe it was just executed well, maybe it just resonated well or maybe it broke the cycle of tropes and mundane-ness.
Some anime give you closure. Some end but leave you wanting more. Some rip your heart out, throw it, and then leave you to find your heart while they disappear into the night. Never to be seen again. This is about that last type.
Hands down, this is the anime I've watched through the most times. I'm talking whole series, not skipping around. I mean, technically there's two but... It's a whole thing. Just read it, would ya?
What's it gonna be! What's it gonna be! This is the show that I watch when all hell is breaking loose and I just need any semblance of comfort and stability. Keeps me on track, makes me laugh, and gets me back into it.
