What is this show trying to tell us and why is it doing it so poorly?
Come one, come all! What I'm watching, what I loved, and some thoughts on anime this week.
I WAS RIGHT, HE WAS WRONG, and this is why I love anime.
Any smart creator will push their own agenda through their content. Anime is no different. From increasing birth rate to re-establishing identity after WWII, there is always another purpose. Hopefully, this will at least teach you something you didn't know yet.
Today, let's talk Tenshi no 3P episodes one and two. A musical anime featuring elementary schoolers in a band and high-schooler riddled with anxiety. The second part sounds relatable enough.
Episode is out! And it's much slower than episode 1. A great drawn in for viewers or the sign of a new tempo for the show? Who knows? If this show taught me anything so far it's to trust nothing.
Some anime give you closure. Some end but leave you wanting more. Some rip your heart out, throw it, and then leave you to find your heart while they disappear into the night. Never to be seen again. This is about that last type.
Ep 2 of 18if came out today and I have some thoughts. Why are they hiding so many explanations for simple stuff? People can just kill in dreams if they feel like it? Whhhaaaaaattt.
Ya ever see something in an anime and think, 'That's just not right"? But then you watch anyway because anime isn't real life. Well, I think that's exactly what makes anime so special.
